  5. Astro.22 Pro. Astrology is a program that accurately calculates the
  6. position of the planets, cusps and zodiac positions to within
  7. approximately thirty seconds of arc. It is specifically designed for
  8. the discerning Astrologer who needs a comprehensive range of features
  9. combined with accuracy, versatility, upgradeability and ease of use -
  10. at an affordable price!

  12. Astro.22 is devised to meet the needs of all those who have an
  13. interest in this subject at whatever level. Even those who have no
  14. technical knowledge of astrology are able to produce charts almost
  15. immediately. Before the advent of home computers such a task would
  16. have required months of study and a more than average aptitude for
  17. mathematics.

  19. From the more involved student to the professional,all will enjoy the
  20. ease, speed and general design of the program which immediately
  21. calculates needed data. Astrologers are able to  work with a chart
  22. from any perspective without fumbling through too many menu systems,
  23. prompts and windows. For example, if the necessary modules are
  24. present, a chart may be calculated; examined for applying transits;
  25. progressed to any date; cross checked against a Natal chart; Tertiary
  26. aspects noted etc., all within a few seconds. Aspects may be viewed in
  27. any of three modes: Grid format, Tabulated or Graphic. Any work screen
  28. may be updated in time increments or decrements, even progressed
  29. charts. The program is fully menu driven with hot keys and keyboard
  30. short-cuts to suit most users.

  32. Those who have no knowledge of Astrology are advised to borrow
  33. books from the library as supplementary reading. The hard part of
  34. astrology, namely calculating the chart, is done by Astro.22. The more
  35. experienced astrologers will immediately recognise the potential of
  36. Astro.22 and will derive great pleasure from its use.

  38. Several add-on modules are already available for release and details
  39. of these can be found in the Pull-down Menu against 'Astro.22' and
  40. 'Help' or directly from the disk file 'MODULES.TXT'.

  42. The advantage of the extra modules is that only those parts which are
  43. suitable for present personal requirements need be purchased. Further
  44. modules may be added as the need arises. Those with only a casual
  45. interest in Astrology can derive great pleasure from producing
  46. personalised character profiles for family and friends using the
  47. 'Character Analysis Module' and by evaluating future trends with the
  48. 'Prediction Module'. The text files are in the region of 300K and can
  49. be edited by the user in any word processor in ASCII mode. Also, there
  50. is no restriction on the amount of extra script that may be added to
  51. the existing text files.

  53. The shareware version of Astro.22 will run on any standard Amiga
  54. computer, however, do note that THE REGISTERED VERSION REQUIRES 1MG of
  55. memory.

  57. To run the program insert the Astro.22 disk into drive DF0: then reset
  58. the computer using CONTROL+LEFT AMIGA KEY+RIGHT AMIGA KEY or just boot
  59. your computer with the the disk in drive DFO:

  61. When the program has loaded, from the 'Help' option select
  62. 'Instructions' for information on how to use the program. The option
  63. is given to direct the file to a printer.

  67. will be gratefully received and implemented wherever possible.

  71. Version 3.5 of Astro.22 is distributed as SHAREWARE and if you enjoy
  72. the program and wish to continue using it then you are obliged to
  73. register for a fee of £10.00. (Not required if you purchase modules to
  74. this amount.) If you also send in your original Shareware disk the
  75. most recent copy of the program will returned to you with one free
  76. module - 'Save to file and Screen Print."
